What a fee buys, and what happens when plans change. If your situation is not covered here, write to us — we would rather sort it out than have a family out of pocket over a round their child never sat.

Registering for an SSD account is free. Some competition rounds carry an entry fee, and some parts of SSD Club are offered as a paid subscription. The amount is shown before you commit to it, on the screen where the entry or subscription is taken — we do not charge anything that was not shown to you first.
Seminars and in-person events are separate from competition entries and are arranged directly with SSD.
An entry fee buys a student a place in a round of the competition: the paper, the marking, the certificate for that level, and their place on the pathway if they advance. It is not a charge for a period of access, so it does not lapse if a round is moved.
Tell us before the round opens. Write to us on WhatsApp with the student’s name and Student ID, and say that you want to withdraw. We will confirm what we can do in writing before anything is settled either way.
Once a student has opened a paper, the entry has been used and a fee for that round is not returned.
A postponed round keeps your entry. You do not pay again, you do not re-register, and the Student ID stays the same. The SRMC Secondary school round is postponed at the moment and every entry already made is being held on exactly this basis.
If SSD cancels a round outright and does not reschedule it, the entry fee for that round is returned in full.
If the same entry has been paid twice, or a payment was made for the wrong student or the wrong round, tell us and send whatever proof you have — a transfer receipt or a screenshot is enough. We will return the duplicate or move it to the right entry, whichever you prefer.
Where SSD Club is taken as a monthly subscription, it runs month by month and can be stopped at any time. Stopping it ends future months; the month already paid for runs to its end. Nothing a student has already earned — points, badges, their portfolio, their competition record — is removed when a subscription stops.
Message us on WhatsApp with the student’s full name, their Student ID, which round or subscription it concerns, and what you would like done. We will reply with what we can do. If money is to be returned, it goes back to the account it came from.
These arrangements sit alongside our terms of use and do not affect any right you have under Malaysian consumer law.
