SSD Malaysia
These terms apply to everyone who uses www.ssdmalaysia.tech — students, parents and guardians, teachers and school coordinators. Registering an account means accepting them.
Last reviewed: 20 September 2026
Accounts are for school students in Malaysia. Because our students are children, a parent or guardian must register the account and is responsible for it. By registering you confirm you are the child’s parent or guardian, or a teacher acting with the school’s and the parent’s agreement.
The details given at registration must be true. A student’s year or standard decides which paper they sit and which category they are ranked in, so an entry made under the wrong year is not a fair entry.
Every student gets one permanent SSD Student ID, and it stays with them across SRMC, AKSC, SSD Club and anything we run in future. Do not create a second account for the same child. Duplicate accounts may be merged or removed, and a result sat on a duplicate may not stand.
The password on an account belongs to that student. Do not share it with other students, and do not sign in to another student’s account, even with their permission. Anything done from an account is treated as done by that student.
If you think somebody else knows the password, change it from the dashboard and tell us.
The rules that govern papers — timing, what help is allowed, what happens if a connection drops — are set out separately on the competition rules page and form part of these terms.
Questions, papers, lessons, explanations, artwork and the design of this site belong to SSD Malaysia. You may use them for your own child’s learning. You may not copy a paper, record it, republish it, sell it, or use it to coach other students commercially.
Work a student uploads — an activity photograph, a project, a certificate — stays theirs. By uploading it you give SSD permission to store it, show it to the student and their parent, and, where the student or parent has separately agreed, display it in a showcase. We will not publish a child’s photograph or certificate without that separate agreement.
This is a site used by children. Do not upload anything you would not show a teacher. Do not attempt to break into the site, probe it for weaknesses, scrape it, or automate access to it. We may suspend or close an account that does any of these, and where a competition entry is affected we will tell the parent why.
We work hard to keep the site up, particularly while a paper is open, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. If a fault on our side stops a student sitting a paper within its window, tell us — the remedy is a fresh sitting, and we would rather give one than have a child lose a round to something that was not their fault.
Some rounds and some parts of SSD Club carry a fee. What is charged and what happens if you need to cancel is on the fees and refunds page.
We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page moves when we do, and where a change matters we will say so in the announcements on our front page.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
